Born in North Hollywood, California in 1956, Frank began making gear out of necessity while managing a remote cattle station in the Kimberley region of Australia where he worked as a stockman and bush pilot. This led to a burgeoning interest in building bits, spurs, and other cowboy accoutrements and in 1990 he returned to America with his wife and two children attending the Miller Bit and Spur School in Nampa, Idaho, and eventually staying on for an additional three months with Elmer Miller before finding a suitable location in Victor, Montana to open his own shop. Frank specializes in the fancier California style bits and spurs as well conchos and buckles
