Born in 1945, Robert Campbell owned a welding business in Amarillo, Texas when he was inspired by the late Jerry Cates to make his first pair of spurs in 1984. He was joined by his son, Leo (Canyon, TX) in 1990 and they are both still at it two decades later. Both med attend about 35 rodeos a year where they compete while selling their wares.
