Lisa received her Master of Fine Arts from California State University-Fullerton. There she developed an understanding of her place in the art world as it related to the vast history of equine art and she discovered a passion for bronze casting. After graduation, she worked for numerous foundries throughout the Southwest. Most of her pieces are not horses but are about her own metaphorical meditations on life. The horse is always the center, but how it is depicted is always a surprise and delight to an admirer.
