Rodeoing and ranching most of his life, Gary learned bit and spur making at the Elmer Miller School. Later attending Trinidad Gun and Engraving Workshop in Colorado. Gary prefers the California style with the artistic challenges that it poses. He professes a love for the West and wants to preserve its heritage through his craft.
