The partnership of Gus Goldberg (1872-1942), and David Staunton employed the master, John Estrada for their silver work. James Francis Otis of Nevada is listed in a March 23rd, 1921 Humbolt Star newspaper ad as “successor to Goldberg Saddlery Co” with John Estrada as cited as “expert workman in charge of Bits and Spurs Department”. Otis also manufactured a full line of harness, bridles, and auto party in addition to complete vaquero outfits.
