Homer Pettigrew was one of the finest steer wrestlers or bulldoggers of all time. His record of six world championships proves that! At one time or another, he won first money at every big rodeo in the country. In 1941 at Boston he won the bulldogging, calf roping and the heart of Ada Lee Perner, a beautiful cowgirl who was competing in the girl’s cutting horse contest.
