Born Jack Rellaford, in 1906 in San Francisco, California, he was billed throughout his movie and television career as “the man you love to hate”. Black Jack entered films in the 1930s, appearing in over 200 movie and TV productions. In addition to his villainous chores, Jack did stunt work for Lou Costello and doubled for Leo Carrillo and Orson Welles. He made many personal tours with Bob Steele, Tim Holt, Sunset Carson and Lash LaRue. The tours featured a fist and gunfight with Black Jack losing...as usual. He died in Paradise, CA in 1967.
