Soulages Mfg Co -- Harry Soulages was shop manager for Edward H. Bohlin in the 1930s. He left in the late 1930s and joined Major Monte Stone at Hollywood Saddlery located at 6309 Sunset Blvd. Harry became manager of “The Westerner” from 1941-1946 and eventually started the Soulages Mfg Co at that same “Westerner” address. In the early 1950s, he sold Soulages Mfg Co to Bob White who changed the name back to The Westerner. Soulages relocated to Reno, NV in the 1950s and continued to operate his business there into the 1960s.
