An artist all her life, Tracy won her fist art exhibition at the age of seven and began taking art classes at the McNay Art Institute in San Antonio. She graduated from Southwest Texas State University in Journalism, but returned home to realize art was her passion. In 1987 she was invited to be in the San Antonio Alamo Kiwanis International Western Exhibition. She won her first National Art Award in 1988 in Dallas and has worked professionally for 22 years predominantly in oils. Her paintings have been widely collected in private, public and corporate collections. She lives and works on her ranch in rural south Texas.
