Samantha “Sammy” Sisco, along with her sister, Bertha and brother, Gene, were prominent San Francisco Bay Area leather carvers, who worked for Visalia, Olsen-Nolte and other saddle makers from the mid 1930s through the late 1960s. Gene resided in the Northern California gold country. Sammy, Bertha and Gene have all passed on.
