Born in Madison County, Texas in the 1870s, Collins worked for many saddleries including DE Walker (Visalia), Jepson and Sons (Los Angeles) and RT Frazier. He finally settled in Globe, Arizona where he “continued to dispense the best in leather goods, along with the best in authoritative Western history.”
